Am 26. September 2021 findet die Wahl zum Deutschen Bundestag statt. Wie Deutsche, die außerhalb der Bundesrepublik Deutschland leben und im Bundesgebiet keine Wohnung mehr innehaben, an der Wahl teilnehmen können, erfahren Sie hier.
Für ihre Wahlteilnahme ist u. a. Voraussetzung, dass sie
„Zuflucht – Zuversicht –Zukunft | 75 Jahre danach“
ist ein von Roland Remus und Sabine C. Langer in Deutschland initiiertes Projekt in dessen Mittelpunkt das persönliche Erleben von Flucht und Vertreibung am Ende des Zweiten Weltkrieges steht. Im Rahmen dieses Projektes recherchierten die Initiatoren nicht nur ihre eigene Familiengeschichte von Flucht und Vertreibung, sondern auch die vieler anderer Menschen.
Wir wünschen allen Mitgliedern sowie Freundinnen und Freunden der Deutschen Gesellschaft zu Montreal frohe Festtage.

Dear friends,
The Christmas Season is approaching and at that time of the year we would have invited you to our traditional Christmas market. The Christmas market was an opportunity to try German cuisine, taste German Christmas specialties and meet with friends over mulled wine. In addition, the Christmas market raised funds for charitable and German-speaking organizations in Montreal.
Nach einem kurzen Abstecher zurück in die Außenwelt fand unser Oktober-Stammtisch angesichts der aktuellen Lage wieder virtuell statt. Zunächst natürlich sehr schade, dass wir uns nicht – wie im Monat zuvor – persönlich wiedersehen konnten. Gleichzeitig offenbarte diese Ausgabe ein sehr schönes Beispiel dafür, welche Bedeutung Online-Angebote für soziale Kontakte momentan zuteil werden. Dieses Mal haben wir zum ersten Mal Alexandre Duguay, 27, aus Saint-Ambroise-de-Kildare, QC, in unserer Gruppe begrüßt. Seine Anwesenheit hat uns berührt und nachhaltig beeindruckt.
